Philosophy

When the now-retired FZR was founded in 2020, it was a small group of guys who wanted to have fun and enjoy a bit of racing when everything else was canceled, as the pandemic grew worse. We fought on track, but also grew closer off of it. The league provided us a chance to connect with people from all over the world and be a part of a unique community that nowhere else could provide.

Almost two years later, SimHaven was founded. At the core, it's really just the same guys, who love racing and want to create the best community possible. Our core values will remain the same, and all members are required to respect them at all times.

Sportsmanship  -  Drivers should fight hard and fair on track, and occasionally mistakes will be made and tempers will flare. Any intentionally dirty driving or attempts to purposely crash will result in a lifetime ban. Off the track, drivers are expected to be courteous and respectful, and any discussions over incidents must remain on topic. If you cannot respect the rules of racing, or are unable to maturely conduct yourself within our servers, SimHaven is not for you.

Inclusion  -  Racing is for everyone. SimHaven represents a place where people from all walks of life can come and share a common interest in a welcoming environment. Members must respect all aspects of a person's identity, including but not limited to ethnicity, religion, gender, and pronouns. SimHaven has members from over 40 countries, across 4 continents, and all walks of life. Any behavior judged to be unwelcoming or insulting towards a member of the community or their identity, in any form, will result in permanent expulsion from SimHaven.

Charity  -  SimHaven's most important aspect of the community we've created is the positive impact we can achieve within it. Charity and finding ways to give back are an essential part of our organization. As we host events or races to benefit charity, they'll be listed on our charity page. SimHaven donates 100% of all money raised.
